Refund and Cancellation Policy

At KALAREE, we take great pride in the craftsmanship of our handmade jewelry and decor. Since our products are handcrafted with care, we have established the following policy to ensure a fair process for both the artist and the customer.

1. Cancellations

  • Timeframe: You may request a cancellation within 1 days of placing your order.

  • Shipping Status: Once an order has been shipped, it can no longer be cancelled.

  • Process: To cancel, please contact us immediately with your Order ID. If the cancellation is approved, a full refund will be issued via Razorpay.

2. Returns and Refunds

We only offer solutions if the product received is defective or damaged upon arrival.

Mandatory Requirement for Claims: To verify the condition of the item, we require a full, unedited unboxing video starting from the opening of the sealed courier package until the defect is clearly shown.

  • Video Only: Please note that photographs are not eligible as proof for returns or refunds. Only a continuous unboxing video will be accepted.

  • Reporting Window: Any defects must be reported within 24–48 hours of delivery.

3. Resolution Options

Once your unboxing video is reviewed, KALAREE will determine the appropriate resolution based on the extent of the damage:

  • Replacement: We may send a new unit of the same product at no extra cost.

  • Full Refund: Issued if the product is completely unusable or significantly damaged.

  • Partial (Half) Refund: At our discretion, a 50% refund may be offered if the damage is minor or fixable by the customer but still affects the overall quality of the piece.

4. Exclusions

  • Handmade Variations: Slight variations in color, size, or design are natural in handmade quilling and jewelry and are not considered defects.

  • Customer Damage: We are not responsible for damage caused by improper handling after the package has been opened.

5. Refund Process

Once the resolution is agreed upon:

  • Refunds are processed through Razorpay to your original payment method.

  • Credits typically reflect in your account within 5–7 business days.
